Ah, the lifestyle of the rich and the famous. Don’t we love to hear their stories? “My mother wanted me to get a paralegal training, but I always knew that one day, I would become a star”. Or “When I was a child, I dreamed of learning how to become a police officer. I eventually gave up the idea and became an actor instead. I can now play a police officer now. A bad one!” These are all pretty good, but my favorite one is “When I was young, I used to watching that show with that bad-a** criminal investigator. Now, thanks to the movie script, I am the criminal” 

Life is sweet for the stars living in Hollywood. However, despite some of them not having their feet on the ground, they are people like us, who commit mistakes, who say stupid things, who are imperfect. There are imperfections which might require a plastic surgeon or imaginary imperfections, which wouldn’t require anything, but they stand by their position anyway. Here is the deal: plastic surgeries are one of Hollywood’s best kept secrets – or at least, they should be. No celebrity wants you to find out that he suffered an intervention, so that you don’t accuse him of vanity. There are plastic surgeries which are simply put, awful (Hello, Joan Rivers!) and others which are barely noticeable, because they opted for a natural look and the changes are really subtle. Listed below are a few celebrities who managed to improve their looks without making any drastic changes.

·         Ashlee Simpson

Yes, that nose of hers was slightly big, so she decided to go under the knife, but only the tip of her nose suffered modifications. It was a successful surgery, which didn’t change her appearance too much. The nose, despite looking better, has pretty much the same construction as before

·         Ellen DeGeneres

You wouldn’t have guessed that, right? It’s easy to see why, because despite getting face and eyelift, her face looks rejuvenated without being too obvious. It’s important not to cross the line between ‘enough’ and ‘too much’ and fortunately, she didn’t do that

·         Tyra Banks

She had an obvious nose job  or also known as Rhinoplasty, probably before starting her career. Before, her nose looked rounder and her new one seems to be much narrower, which is quite an improvement

·         John Wayne

We needed a man in this list and who is better than the manliest of them all: John Wayne!

Apparently, during the 60s he wore a toupee and had cosmetic surgeries on his eyelids and also on his neck. Who would have thought that?

There are many celebrities who either get screwed up by their plastic surgeons or get the perfect face, because yes, they are imperfect and they know it, but sometimes it’s so hard to admit it.
